RE: Important changes regarding the merger of REMG and Plum Property Management

Dear Residents,

Plum Property Management is in the process of entering all clients (homeowners, tenants, property owners, etc.) into our new software program, Rent Manager.  Appfolio (REMG’s software provider) is no longer the platform being used for online payments, account status, and online work orders.

1) Regarding March and future payments, below is a list of payment options:

  • Enroll in PayLease through the Plum PM website.  PayLease is similar to the ACH payment platform provided by Appfolio however, there is a merchant fee charged by PayLease when submitting an online payment.  Detailed instructions to enroll in PayLease can be found on the Plum PM website under the ‘Current Residents‘ tab.   • Mail a check to Plum PM – PO Box 17312, Missoula, MT 59808
  • Hand deliver a check to Plum PM – 425 N. 5th Street W. – Suite E, Missoula, MT 59802
  • Enroll in ‘Bill Pay’ with your banking institution (usually a free service offered by banks).  The bank initiates the payment from your bank account and then mails the payment to Plum PM – PO Box 17312, Missoula, MT 59808.  **If you choose this payment method, please make sure the payment is scheduled to process by the 25th of the previous month, to ensure the payment arrives to Plum PM within 7-10 business days.

** All payments must be made payable to Plum Property Management.  We can no longer accept payments made payable to REMG or Real Estate Management Group. **

2) Reporting Maintenance:

  • Emergencies:  Maintenance emergencies (no heat, no hot water, flood, water leak, etc.) during non-business hours must be reported immediately by calling (406) 532-9300 and following the prompts to reach the maintenance emergency dispatch call center.
  • Non-emergency maintenance: General maintenance requests must be submitted in writing via email or via the Plum PM website under the ‘Current Residents’ tab.

3) Plum Property Management ‘Phone Tree’:

In an effort to better serve our clients, we have established a Phone Tree.  When you call our main line, you will be offered department prompts which will enable you to elect which department to reach depending on what the nature of your call is.  If you are not able to reach an employee within the appropriate department, please leave a voice mail and you will be responded to within 24 business hours.

4) Current Rental Agreements with REMG:

All current rental agreements are honored until the lease expiration date.  45-60 days prior to the expiration date you will receive an email and mailed copy of a new rental agreement with Plum PM.

5) Adjusted Pet Rent Rates:

With the new Plum PM rental agreements the pet rent rates will be changed to the following:

  • 1 pet = $50.00, 2 pets = $100.00, 3 pets = $150.00
  • The pet deposits will remain the same

We apologize for any inconvenience this business transition may cause you.  We are working diligently to ensure the most efficient and smooth transition but with any business merger there are bound to be hiccups and bumps in the road.  Your continued patience and understanding is appreciated.
